How it works
Broad-spectrum light is absorbed selectively by pigment and haemoglobin. Pigment is broken up and cleared by the skin; unwanted vessels are collapsed and reabsorbed. A course of five sessions is usually recommended for lasting results.
Before and after
Avoid sun exposure and self-tan for two weeks before your session. Afterwards the skin may look flushed for a few hours and pigment can darken briefly before flaking away. Daily SPF is essential to protect your results.
